StrongHats

Strong Hats

Sometimes, at the end of a post in the WO (bitcointalk) thread, you see "Strong Hats." Why?

Throughout both Bitcoin's history and Wall Observer's, there have been different types of users: the old guard of Bitcoin, early adopters, and new or relatively new users who react differently to Bitcoin prices:
  • Weak Hands
  • Strong Hands
  • Hodl
  • Strong Hats
But we can also use the term "Strong Hats," which refers directly to the followers of "Strong Hands" and those who hold their positions long-term (HODL). How do "Weak Hands" differ from "Strong Hands"? For example: If there is a period of substantial selling in the market, "Weak Hands" sell and only contribute to pessimism and disaster in the selling trend.

This blog shows in detail the designs of all the hats that xhomerx10 creates for each user's image, but this doesn't mean that they are all Strong Hats.

Who are the Strong Hats? The regular users of the Wall Observer Bitcoin thread, who participate consistently and are characterized by never selling BTC and only holding it long-term (HODL), are the true Strong Hats.

When you see 'Strong Hats' at the end of a post, it's almost certain that the user is expressing support, resolve, or conviction about a topic (as if saying 'Stay strong!'), but using the internal jargon of the WO thread."
